Describing the image in detail seems to be a bit of a moot point as you can see the images for yourself, however, in the interest of passing, I feel I should say that the images are all of the front of the hospitality and tourisim building at TAFE and are characterised by red bricks highlited with varying shades of grey cris-crossed with blue and silver bits of painted metal.
The first image has strong leading lines and is anchored to the right-bottom corner with a graceful arc of a silver barrier.Subtle details in the brickwork of the background add interest between the grey pillars and contrast nicely in terms of colour. I feel that this is my best shot for this assignment.
The second image has been taken from nearly exactally the same place, just at a different angle. A tilt of the camera has made everythign lok a little 'off' but im not so sure it's an entirely bad thing.Pretty much the same as the first image, but the lines are now of the painted blue metal and the light and vent are more prominent areas of interest. The third shot is again, of pretty much the same thing, but taken from further away at a low angle. In this shot you can see both the grey pillars and the blue metal, bicecting the picture along one of the "Rule of third' lines. The image is broken up by red brickwork in the foreground and softened on the left by the delecate edges of a naked tree.
These are pictures of a building. Yay.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm critique.....
